Time and time again we have learned that sometimes the offer of a listening ear can be the first step to overcoming a crisis situation. Couple this supportive attitude with qualified advice, and staff experienced with working alongside other organisations and we can turn a simple conversation into an individual support plan to suit that particular young person’s needs, goals and hopes for the future.

Henley YMCA operates an open door policy where residents are welcome to come for an informal chat with staff about any concerns or issues they may have.

Residents are able to seek advice and guidance from YMCA staff concerning a variety of issues and day to day problems.

Assistance is available specifically for benefit and council tax queries and referral to other agencies where needed. In addition, advice and guidance is given with CV writing and job applications.

If Henley YMCA staff can not solve your problem they will sign post you to someone who can.
