As part of the Henley on Thames Mayor making ceremony, the outgoing Mayor Julian Brookes presented Rosemary Duckett, Chair of Henley YMCA trustees and Lisa Grant, General Manager, with a cheque for £5,484.
Henley YMCA was one of three charities Mayor Julian Brookes chose to support during his year in office. The money was raised through a variety of events held by the Mayor’s office during 2016-2017.
Henley YMCA are very grateful for all the support that the Mayor has given over the last year, especially with their fund raising efforts. The money will go towards the refurbishment programme planned for later in the year.
