Thursday the 28th of May saw the second YMCA Community Event. YMCA Henley working in partnership with Nomad, GreenSquare and First Soccer arranged an afternoon of fun and food for the whole family.
The event was held up on the YMCA football pitch. There were a variety of activities for local young people to get involved in.
First Soccer set up their one on one football court. This saw plenty of healthy goal scoring competition, with both adults and young people pitting their skills against each other.
In addition, there was a climbing wall to challenge both adults and young people, although the youngsters seemed to be much braver than the adults.
For those who thought the wall a bit of a challenge there was a bike challenge to tackle.
All enjoyed the excellent BBQ, that the local housing association GreenSquare provided. A fun day was had by all. Roll on May next year.
